Program Injectable is a suspension containing 0.1 g of lufenuron per ml. Following presentations are available:

PROGRAM 40 IJS, an injectable suspension in a prefilled single-dose syringe containing 0.4 ml, corresponding to 40 mg of lufenuron.

PROGRAM 80 IJS, an injectable suspension in a prefilled single-dose syringe containing 0.8 ml, corresponding to 80 mg of lufenuron

Lufenuron, the active ingredient of PROGRAM, is an insect development inhibitor (IDI) belonging to the group of benzoyl-phenyl-ureas (BPUs). Like all BPU's, lufenuron acts as a chitin synthesis inhibitor. Female fleas feeding on treated animals will produce eggs out of which no larvae will hatch. The interruption of the flea life cycle results in a long-term, very effective flea control on the animal as well as in the environment

PROGRAM INJ is an injectable suspension for cats for the prevention and control of flea infestations.

PROGRAM injectable suspension is given parenterally at the minimum dose of 10mg lufenuron per kg body weight according to the following table:

Each injection will provide a protection over a period of 6 months.

Treatment of existing infestations can begin at any time. In cases of severe infestations, the use of an adulticide during the first few weeks of the treatment may be necessary. Effective blood levels of lufenuron are achieved within 21 days.

PROGRAM is best used in a prophylactic way. In this case treatment should start in spring, before the beginning of the flea season, and repeated every six months.

All cats and dogs in a household must be treated in order to prevent the build up of developing fleas in the environment, thus establishing an infestation. For dogs use PROGRAM tablets

Do not use in dogs.
The injection should be carried out under aseptic conditions. The syringe must only be used once.

PROGRAM injectable suspension for cats is available as prefilled sterile, disposable 1 ml syringes, containing a withdrawable volume of 0.4 and 0.8ml of suspension.
10 individually blistered syringes are packed in a cardboard box.
Two syringe sizes are available:
PROGRAM 40 containing 40 mg lufenuron.
PROGRAM 80 containing 80 mg lufenuron
